Luxury and Exclusivity Well Grounded
The House of Hilton & Hyland has good bones. Built on a foundation of integrity, vision and concrete connection to the most rarified luxury residential and commercial communities throughout Southern California, the firm’s cornerstone is customer service, its backbone the over 100 Hilton & Hyland agents, each chosen for outstanding personal accomplishment, exemplary client dedication and discretion, and discerning ethics in the marketing, purchase and sale of luxury real estate.
Founded in 1993 by Rick Hilton and Jeff Hyland and based in Beverly Hills, the exclusive real estate brokerage firm began as a specialist concern reflecting the partners’ passions and professionalism. Its area of expertise quickly expanded from the Platinum Triangle of Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Holmby Hills to Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, the Hollywood Hills and Malibu, and now includes luxury homes, estates and commercial properties throughout Southern California from Santa Barbara to San Diego.
Hyland, a Los Angeles-native and son of parents in the arts and entertainment industries, grew up in Little Holmby, nestled between Beverly Hills and the University of California Los Angeles. Comprised of houses reflecting the zenith of California architecture in a panoply of styles, the neighborhood and its immediate environs fostered an appreciation of property and beauty that formed the base of Hyland’s career.
Hyland has held tenures as the President of the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors, President of the Los Angeles County Boards of Real Estate and State Director for the California Association of Realtors. In 2011, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Realtors Association. His most recent book, The Legendary Estates of Beverly Hills, is a comprehensive survey of the most important properties in Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills and Bel-Air. Hyland’s research into the history of luxury residential architecture and design in Los Angeles is ongoing.
Hilton, the grandson of the founder of the Hilton Hotel empire and father of celebrity Paris, has vast experience in residential sales and commercial financing and sales, as well as real estate development. Born in Los Angeles, he began his career in New York with a real estate investment banking firm, where came to specialize in sophisticated, large-scale transactions involving institutional investors and pension funds, before launching his own company focused on commercial real estate in 1984. Following the founding of Hilton & Hyland, Hilton, as a principal, developed Brentwood Country Estates, an exclusive residential estate community in West Los Angeles. He is also actively engaged in the hotel and resort industry.
Hyland has been called “The Gatekeeper of Beverly Hills” by Town & Country magazine and “Best of the Best” by The Robb Report, and both he and Hilton are included in “The One Hundred Most Influential People in Los Angeles” by Haute Living Magazine.
In their House, reputation and standards are paramount. In their House, Hilton, Hyland and the entire staff strive for excellence in all transactions. In their House, which has long set the bar by which other real estate firms are judged, success is measured by customer service and satisfaction, and creativity by continuing to exceed customer expectations.
